My journey to UX.
March 2024 - Present
UC Berkeley Extension
Combining my experience of designing for an anticipated user, and my interest in technology, I developed a natural inclination to pursue UX design. At UC Berkeley, I am working towards a certificate of completion in the Professional Program in User Experience (UX) Design. My professors have taught me the essentials of UX design through projects. I've learned visual design principles, prototyping tools, and how to collect data through user interviews and by hosting brainstorming sessions.

Previous experience at various Architecture Firms
Working in residential architecture, my career has been built around studying end-to-end experience of a user and how they will use the space I create. I have exercised my visual design skills by intensively using the Adobe suite to create graphic site plans. I've led brainstorming sessions internally to solve design problems using Miro and Bluebeam Revu.

Graduated from Syracuse University
I graduated from Syracuse University with a 5-year B. Arch degree in 2022. While taking my architectural courses, I focused on designing spaces that enhance the user experience. While in school, I took electives in Computer Science, furthering my interesting in coding, math, and logic. I also took electives in psychology and archaeology, studying patterns of human behavior.
